The Trifecta Weekend Challenge is to create a piece of 33 words from one of three photo prompts.
This is more difficult than you’d think.
I told my girl we’d meet at eight,
“Where at?” she asked – “the Empire State?”
Been waiting over half an hour –
I’ll bet she’s at the Freedom Tower.
Duh! … no sense of direction

About Sandra
I used to cruise the French waterways with my husband four or five months a year, and wrote fiction and poetry. Now I live on the beautiful Dorset coast, enjoying the luxury of being able to have a cat, cultivating an extensive garden and getting involved in the community. I still write fiction, but only when the spirit moves me - which isn't as often as before. I love animals, F1 motor racing, French bread and my husband, though not necessarily in that order.
Ha! Lost! Very funny! 🙂

I didn’t know whether to use ‘duh’ or ‘doh’ but when I googled it I found there is a difference, and ‘duh’ is more derogatory. Didn’t know that. 😦

So true, I once ended up on the wrong motorway heading east when I should have been on another heading south. Nearly an hour before I realised … 😦

Thanks Judee. 33 words is very difficult but easier with verse (well doggerel) I think. Thanks for dropping by.
