About Sandra

I used to cruise the French waterways with my husband four or five months a year, and wrote fiction and poetry. Now I live on the beautiful Dorset coast, enjoying the luxury of being able to have a cat, cultivating an extensive garden and getting involved in the community. I still write fiction, but only when the spirit moves me - which isn't as often as before. I love animals, F1 motor racing, French bread and my husband, though not necessarily in that order.

Sandra – a sad story that slowly unwinds a reveal, paragraph by paragraph. Your writing is always wonderful but here, you match the subject’s affect with even more skill. Beautifully done. (but Sandra – you have to get better at plugging your work! I almost missed seeing your story!)

Thanks Jo-Anne. I feel uncomfortable about bombarding Twitter and Facebook, but WordPress does it automatically if I forget to change the settings. 😉 Anyway glad you liked it.

  2. Wow! You did a most excellent job. You drew me right into your world. The end is perfect. I do hope she finds the happiness she missed for the past 12 years.
