Sunday Stills: Favourite Subject

DSCN3836

I make no apologies; I love to photograph cats.  There’s such an elusive, aloof aspect to their expressions, and they can be so difficult to capture, almost as if they’re deliberately witholding their image from mere humans like us.  This is Luna, the cat who owns the boat moored next to us, and sub-lets a room to a lovely  young French couple in return for food, heating and the occasional stroke.   She’ll occasionally grace the deck of our boat too… so generous with her favours.  🙂

About Sandra

I used to cruise the French waterways with my husband four or five months a year, and wrote fiction and poetry. Now I live on the beautiful Dorset coast, enjoying the luxury of being able to have a cat, cultivating an extensive garden and getting involved in the community. I still write fiction, but only when the spirit moves me - which isn't as often as before. I love animals, F1 motor racing, French bread and my husband, though not necessarily in that order.
