Firework shots taken at the Bastille Day celebrations near Buzet in the Lot-et-Garonne region of south west France. A night to remember; wine, chilli con carne, good friends accompanied by firework-friendly huskies who dozed at our feet throughout the display.
To see other night shots, (including that elusive bolt of lightning shot we’ve never quite captured) visit Sunday Stills.

About Sandra
I used to cruise the French waterways with my husband four or five months a year, and wrote fiction and poetry. Now I live on the beautiful Dorset coast, enjoying the luxury of being able to have a cat, cultivating an extensive garden and getting involved in the community. I still write fiction, but only when the spirit moves me - which isn't as often as before. I love animals, F1 motor racing, French bread and my husband, though not necessarily in that order.
These are great night shots!

Sandra,
I must try to photograph some fireworks this summer; I only hope that they half as nice as yours. Have a wonderful week.
