Weekly Photo Challenge: Thresholds

The Weekly Photo Challenge was ‘Thresholds’.  I’ve included some shots from our travels on the waterways, including a sorry stray trying to stowaway on our boat, and a fleeting view of the mountains surrounding the vineyard of Boschendahl in Western Cape.  Such a lot of scope here and to see other interpretations visit the site or click any of the links below:

About Sandra

I used to cruise the French waterways with my husband four or five months a year, and wrote fiction and poetry. Now I live on the beautiful Dorset coast, enjoying the luxury of being able to have a cat, cultivating an extensive garden and getting involved in the community. I still write fiction, but only when the spirit moves me - which isn't as often as before. I love animals, F1 motor racing, French bread and my husband, though not necessarily in that order.

  1. I suspected there might be a cat in one of your photos and I was right! 🙂

  4. Beautiful photos, Sandra. The one looks like a door to a “secret garden”.

It does rather, but it was a tiny cottage in the French hamlet of Chateauneuf. I’m not sure of the significance of the motifs attached to the door, they look a bit like charms. 🙂

I'd love to hear your views; it reassures me I'm not talking to myself.
