A frosty morning is like a siren call to those interested in photography. Little or no breakfast, hastily struggle into boots and gloves, grab the cameras and out into the woods. Because nothing is more ephemeral than frost; the window of opportunity is fleeting, as the sun rises to dissipate the white hoar that has coated the woods during the night. A true example of ‘ephemeral’ – lasting only a short period of time.
I’m looking forward to seeing what other contributors to the Weekly Photo Challenge have to offer for this ‘Ephemeral’ prompt.
The pictures seem to be magical 🙂

Thanks Suzanne. Yes, one of my favourites, which reminds me it’s time to change the header to signify springtime. 🙂

Beautiful shots! I too love the web one. I can almost feel the frost from here. We were close to one this morning but not quite.

I think I’ve probably taken the last ones for this year – we’ve not had a hard frost in weeks now. Thanks for dropping by.

Lovely shots but I really love the spider web. It looks like lace work. 🙂

You can’t help but admire the industry that went into producing that. Pity I’ve an aversion to spiders though. 🙂

Stunning images, Sandra, especially the spider’s web. It was worth the “little or no breakfast.” 🙂
