I wanted to experiment with a black velvet backcloth to try to get a better picture composition. Have you seen the price of velvet?? I had to make do with black fleece in the end.
OK, I had a little help from the Edit function for this one.
God only knows what went wrong with this one, but I rather like the effect of the leaves.
This week’s challenge was ‘Blur’. To see what others have blurred, either purposely or accidentally, visit Weekly Photo Challenge.
About Sandra
I used to cruise the French waterways with my husband four or five months a year, and wrote fiction and poetry. Now I live on the beautiful Dorset coast, enjoying the luxury of being able to have a cat, cultivating an extensive garden and getting involved in the community. I still write fiction, but only when the spirit moves me - which isn't as often as before. I love animals, F1 motor racing, French bread and my husband, though not necessarily in that order.
Those are fun, Sandra. Have a great weekend and happy Easter.

The first photo looks mysterious. Is it 3 bases or 1 with reflections? I like it very much. The photo of the tree has a beautiful blue color. Nice selections for the challenge. 😃

It’s three vases Isadora; I like the way the image disappears towards the bottom of the photo. If I’d set out to achieve that effect it probably wouldn’t have happened. 🙂

I like that effect too. I like the fact that it’s mysterious enough to create a question in the viewer as to what they are actaully seeing. I thought there was one vase. Very well mistaken achievement …!!!! : )

I have a lot of blurry photos of my dog Reggie on my phone. I should enter those in the photo challenge. 😉

I thought I’d have a lot of blurry ones to choose from for this challenge, but seems I’ve dispensed with most of them. 😉

The first photo is sensational, I really love it. How did you take it? It should be sold as wall art.

Thank you! I just point and shoot, and if it doesn’t turn out the way I want, I twist the dial and try again. I’m not a camera techie I’m afraid. 🙂
