Close Up – Weekly Photo Challenge

Close up:  it’s not always about flowers:

I’m fascinated by tree bark.  The one on the left is almost like looking down into a canyon.  Can you see what looks like a hand in the one on the bottom right?

Leaves also make good close up material:

It’s not easy getting close enough to a yucca plant to capture the new bud in the centre.  And can you spot the tiny drop of water nestling in the middle of the veined nasturtium leaf?
