Coasting – for Inspiration

The Weekly Photo Challenge was ‘Inspiration’.  The magnificent Dorset coastline certainly inspired me to undertake a serious shin-busting, calf-ripping trek for a better vantage point for the lovely Lulworth Cove and cliffs.

DSC_0162Chesil Beach – the location for Ian McEwan’s Booker Prize winning novella – still in Dorset.  Another climb here, this time in a car, high above Portland.

Some foreign coastlines – Table Mountain from Bloubergstrand, and Los Gigantes, Tenerife.

About Sandra

I cruise the French waterways with my husband four or five months a year, and write fiction and poetry. I love animals, F1 motor racing, French bread and my husband, though not necessarily in that order.

Thanks Bill. Sometimes I forget how lucky we are living on a relatively small island where you’re never really that far from the coast. Our trip to Dorset earlier this month really reinforced that for me.
