Thanks Carol 🙂
Excellent shots against the black background!
Thanks Sue. I have a blanket especially for that, but it’s not really quite black enough. Black velvet would have been better but it was so expensive ! 🙂

Well done, Sandra. I just thought of you when I commented “Cute bird” on another blog and thought that in England, that comment could mean something completely different (or could have in the past.) Have a marvelous weekend!
Yes, I think the word ‘bird’ is going out of fashion. Unfortunately it’s been succeeded by something far more derogatory. 😦 Thanks for visiting Janet.
It’s amazing how different this piece looks from different angles. My favorite is the one that shows the top of the shell (the one on the left). Lovely, Sandra.
Beautiful from every angel.
What a beautiful shell …!!! When I was in the Bahamas I saw a man on the peier selling shells like this. I didn’t buy one but after seeing your photos I wish I had.
Great entry for the challenge, Sandra.
Hi Isadora, shells make such good subjects. This one was from a basket containing at least a dozen different types of shells. We bought it in Durban, South Africa, and until I became interested in photography, I didn’t realise the potential of our purchase. Thanks for visiting.
Funny … I live in Florida and walk the beach a lot but never collect shells. You’ve given me a reason to do it. Thank you ..!!!
