About Sandra

I used to cruise the French waterways with my husband four or five months a year, and wrote fiction and poetry. Now I live on the beautiful Dorset coast, enjoying the luxury of being able to have a cat, cultivating an extensive garden and getting involved in the community. I still write fiction, but only when the spirit moves me - which isn't as often as before. I love animals, F1 motor racing, French bread and my husband, though not necessarily in that order.

Excellent shots against the black background!

  2. Well done, Sandra. I just thought of you when I commented “Cute bird” on another blog and thought that in England, that comment could mean something completely different (or could have in the past.) Have a marvelous weekend!

Yes, I think the word ‘bird’ is going out of fashion. Unfortunately it’s been succeeded by something far more derogatory. 😦 Thanks for visiting Janet.

It’s amazing how different this piece looks from different angles. My favorite is the one that shows the top of the shell (the one on the left). Lovely, Sandra.

  4. Indira says:

    Beautiful from every angel.

  5. What a beautiful shell …!!! When I was in the Bahamas I saw a man on the peier selling shells like this. I didn’t buy one but after seeing your photos I wish I had.
Great entry for the challenge, Sandra.

I'd love to hear your views; it reassures me I'm not talking to myself.
