Treat: now this was a difficult challenge for me. I realise that, unlike many people, it’s never occurred to me to take photographs of what I’m about to eat. I think I’d probably just rather dive straight into it! A trawl through my archives revealed little, and a trawl through the kitchen cupboards and the fridge revealed nothing to photograph that you could remotely describe as a treat. So here’s the sum product of my ‘treats’ – and to be honest, I don’t think I sampled either of them… they were made for other people.
A Christmas masterpiece, or what passes for a masterpiece in the realms of my culinary arts.
Another culinary ‘achievement’. At least this batch kept a reasonable resemblance to the original cut-out. My gingerbread shapes usually morph into a huge unidentifiable mass, despite putting the baking tray in the fridge for half an hour before popping them in the oven.
But here’s a reprise of my favourite ‘treat’ : treating herself and her surroundings to a liberal coating of chocolate before she was ‘treated’ in the bath.
No really, I couldn’t manage another one…

What lovely photographs! And the last one! ❤ 🙂

🙂 I’m enjoying all the treats, food or otherwise. Travel is really about my favorite treat, right up there with reading. And if I take my Kindle, I can do both. And eat, too. 🙂

Scrumptious! I, too, don’t take very many pictures of what I am about to eat. Only once in a while. That cake is quite amazing, Sandra.
