Ornate: Weekly Photo Challenge

ParrotPretty Polly!

DSCF4566I love a traditional boat decoration, but this one seems a little over the top, even for me.

About Sandra

I used to cruise the French waterways with my husband four or five months a year, and wrote fiction and poetry. Now I live on the beautiful Dorset coast, enjoying the luxury of being able to have a cat, cultivating an extensive garden and getting involved in the community. I still write fiction, but only when the spirit moves me - which isn't as often as before. I love animals, F1 motor racing, French bread and my husband, though not necessarily in that order.

  1. Enjoyed your choices, Sandra, although I once wrote a very sad Friday Fictioneers story in response to the machine photo. I thought about doing all nature, like your first beautiful shot, but went to France instead. πŸ™‚

Very ornate! That machine – never seen anything like it. Very seldom the word “ornate” applies to a machine!

I love the bird… But I have a problem thinking of teaching a lion to bowl… or fetch a ball?
