Victory: Weekly Photo Challenge

When you spend your entire day chewing grass in a field, it’s the little things in life, such as an open gate, that represent a victory.

Of course, if you can persuade a rather attractive nanny round to your place, that would count as a victory, particularly if she had to climb a number of steps to get to you:

But then there’s always the more traditional type of victory:

About Sandra

I used to cruise the French waterways with my husband four or five months a year, and wrote fiction and poetry. Now I live on the beautiful Dorset coast, enjoying the luxury of being able to have a cat, cultivating an extensive garden and getting involved in the community. I still write fiction, but only when the spirit moves me - which isn't as often as before. I love animals, F1 motor racing, French bread and my husband, though not necessarily in that order.

  1. And what a ‘fair view’ from up there too :). And there’s a familiarity to the dragon boat scene. πŸ™‚

  2. I was amazed by the stair climbing goat until I remembered seeing Mountain Goats in Alaska climb a sheer rock face with tiny kids following along like a stroll in the park. Great photos Sandy.

  3. Wow, Sandra, that second one is both amazing and hilarious. I hope the consummation took place somewhere less public and much less tenuous. πŸ™‚
