Tiny Terrors – Weekly Photo Challenge

dscf7040My tiny ‘clients’ at the local Rescue Centre are the subject of my response to the ‘Tiny’ Weekly Photo Challenge.  Kittens nearly always arrive with their brothers and sisters, and usually find their ‘forever’ homes fairly quickly.  Inevitably though, one of them has to be the last one to go, and trying to reassure the last one when all their playmates have mysteriously disappeared… well that can be heartbreaking.

Some of them take it in their stride, of course.  It’s their chance to get the best place on the cat-tree, the choice of toys, and maybe plan their escape.

As a registered ‘Cat-Cuddler’ I  get to enjoy a whole host of fun and feline friendships!

About Sandra

I used to cruise the French waterways with my husband four or five months a year, and wrote fiction and poetry. Now I live on the beautiful Dorset coast, enjoying the luxury of being able to have a cat, cultivating an extensive garden and getting involved in the community. I still write fiction, but only when the spirit moves me - which isn't as often as before. I love animals, F1 motor racing, French bread and my husband, though not necessarily in that order.

Very sweet kittens. I have two cats and wherever I go if I come upon a cat, and I have my camera, I take a photograph of it.

I’m pretty much the same. My portfolio of cat photos is enormous. I have to try to take the photos without flash at the rescue centre, so they can be less than perfect, and of course, they never stay still for one moment!

These photos are so cute. I particularly like the little black kittens. We have just lost our lovely black cat Lenny and home isn’t the same without him. I have just started a poetry blog here on WordPress in case you have time to look? Have a nice afternoon, Sam 🙂
