Security – sometimes it’s just a space to call your own…
And just to change all those ‘aawws’ to ‘arghs’…
here’s a rat who’d found a space to call his own in the electricity/water bourne at our moorings in Dijon…
(Guess who didn’t offer to plug in and fill up that evening…?)

About Sandra
I used to cruise the French waterways with my husband four or five months a year, and wrote fiction and poetry. Now I live on the beautiful Dorset coast, enjoying the luxury of being able to have a cat, cultivating an extensive garden and getting involved in the community. I still write fiction, but only when the spirit moves me - which isn't as often as before. I love animals, F1 motor racing, French bread and my husband, though not necessarily in that order.
Lovely gallery – love that little rat as well!

Too cute, Sandra. One of our rescue dogs use to like to cuddle under a blanket. Once she came out of her crate with a white blanket over her, looking much like a ghost of some sort. It was so funny.

I love your little visitor in the last photo. He got the biggest ‘awww’ from me.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful furry friends!
