I’m with you on the rescue cat. They take awhile to warm up, and it is so rewarding once they do.

She’s a sweetie. She’s her own person, wants to do her own thing but it’s all the more sweet when she keeps popping back indoors to check we’re still there, and wants a hug and a stroke.

She’d love that – lots don’t, as you probably know. They’ll grab your wrist with their front paws and rip out your arteries with their back, but Sophie is really relaxed about a tummy rub.

I love all of these. That cheese looks delicious as do that dates. I also like dates stuffed with goat cheese and then wrapped in bacon or prosciutto. 🙂
