Pedestrian – Weekly Photo Challenge

Difficult challenge this week – I thought I might have to resign myself to some pictures of footwear.  But then I remembered this sad soul, trudging along the beach in Moraira, Spain.

Gathering inspiration, I then began reflecting on ‘pedestrian’ styles of life.

And then some of the ‘pedestrians’ we’ve met whilst navigating through locks… 

I said “I like yer ‘at”…

And then I thought I’d do the shoes anyway…

About Sandra

I used to cruise the French waterways with my husband four or five months a year, and wrote fiction and poetry. Now I live on the beautiful Dorset coast, enjoying the luxury of being able to have a cat, cultivating an extensive garden and getting involved in the community. I still write fiction, but only when the spirit moves me - which isn't as often as before. I love animals, F1 motor racing, French bread and my husband, though not necessarily in that order.

    I love the rural photographs very much in that they remind me of my childhood in rural northwestern Minnesota U.S.A. And being stuck behind a farm truck on a narrow road.
