The Isle of Purbeck is a peninsula in Dorset, England. It is bordered by water on three sides: the English Channel to the south and east, where steep cliffs fall to the sea; and by the marshy lands of the River Frome and Poole Harbour to the north. I remember being driven through here as a child, and thinking, ‘one day I’d like to live here’. And now we do. What else is there to say? It’s beautiful.

About Sandra
I used to cruise the French waterways with my husband four or five months a year, and wrote fiction and poetry. Now I live on the beautiful Dorset coast, enjoying the luxury of being able to have a cat, cultivating an extensive garden and getting involved in the community. I still write fiction, but only when the spirit moves me - which isn't as often as before. I love animals, F1 motor racing, French bread and my husband, though not necessarily in that order.
For sure, it’s beautiful. Someday, I want to live there! =)

I’ve still not quite got over my surroundings, even though we’ve been here almost two years now.
