There’s always one, isn’t there…?
…a field full of cows and one always buttonholes you…
It’s not as though you’re doing anything interesting… both of these chaps (or chappesses) suddenly caught sight of our boat cruising along the canal at the side of their field… heads turning slowly to follow our progress
… and if it’s not a cow… or a bull…
... then it’s a donkey.

About Sandra
I used to cruise the French waterways with my husband four or five months a year, and wrote fiction and poetry. Now I live on the beautiful Dorset coast, enjoying the luxury of being able to have a cat, cultivating an extensive garden and getting involved in the community. I still write fiction, but only when the spirit moves me - which isn't as often as before. I love animals, F1 motor racing, French bread and my husband, though not necessarily in that order.
Nice take, Sandra!

I’m a sucker for donkeys. And cows too, though I can give bulls a miss. 😉

Thank you Elke. Cows always seem so contemplative, don’t they? 🙂
