We hung him out to dry, I suppose.
Not purposely, but when when a fall guy is needed, and an affable dude like Vincent wanders into your cross-hairs…
Thing was, he hadn’t been the instigator. Hadn’t even been that much of an active participant really.
In fact, if I’m honest, he wasn’t even there at the time.
But he couldn’t prove that. Guys like Vincent generally can’t. It’s a knack they have.
Anyway he’s out now.
And royally pissed too, I hear.
But guys like Vincent don’t hold a grudge long.
Yet now here’s this gunman.
Looks a bit like Vincent.
And…
One more week to go, and then the days start getting longer. Only a fellow seasonal depressive can understand the impact of turning the corner, even though there may still be plenty of global warming to scrape off your windscreen. We’re on our way! Here in the south, we are looking to shorter days, but that doesn’t mean they will get cooler until Easter! February is the worst month in Australia.

Guys like Vincent can surprise us, no? In our neck of the woods they’re promising us an arctic blast for the rest of 2022. Ugh. Then again, before you know it we’ll be over winter’s hump and complaining about the heat. Happy birthday tomorrow.

The title had me thinking about Van Gogh, but then. . . no, not the artist 🙂 This is a great read; even though it held the reality of violence it had me smiling .
I’m counting down the days too, Sandra. Not toward Christmas, but to longer days. Usually just a minute or two longer each day, but then every minute counts 🙂

It’s funny how 21 December always felt like a hump to get over in the UK, whereas for us here, it’s the beginning of winter! We’re further south though, so don’t feel the short days as strongly as the cold weather. Either way, I hope you feel brighter soon.
And yes, sounds like Vincent wasn’t thrilled with his part in the story!

Winter came late here this year, throughout November it was quite mild and very sunny. So December has been quite a shock to the system. Thanks for reading.

Prison seems to be like a cocoon for guys like Vincent. They go in little worms and come out spreading their wings of vengeance. Great job going in a vastly different direction than most of us went.
