I’ve always been interested in taking photographs, but over the last few years my focus has been rather less on ‘this is me outside the Sydney Opera House’ and more on ‘look what I found in the Royal Botanical Gardens’ or ‘down at the railway track’ – which is the picture on the left. I’ve become more interested in shapes, textures, forms and colours, and this preoccupation, I think, is reflected in some of the following photographs and montages.
All comments, technical, artistic or otherwise are welcome. I’m never going to be the world’s best photographer, but surely I’m a serious contender for the most prolific! 🙂

Sandra, I’m so glad you took the time to visit my blog, as it gave me an opportunity to meet you and be introduced to your wonderful photo journeys. Now that I see that you really can write, I want to encourage you to think about fleshing out one of your stories and entering my “authors helping authors” project. Just know that the deadline date is March 14th for this first round. HINT: Start at http://www.tales2inspire.com and click on the GREEN CONTINUE button at the bottom of each screen for all the info, what if’s how to’s, etc.
Hope to hear from you.
Best,
Lois

Pingback: Uncle Oscar’s Flight of Fancy | castelsarrasin
I will be honest with you, I haven’t read every part of this posting today but what a gem it is, I like the many different pictures, each telling their own story, like the disabled dog with wheels that give him / her new life and the zoo animals, actually I am not fond of some zoos but as long as they have lots of open space for the animals then I guess their lives are safer, which in this day and age is a good thing with poachers unneccesarily killing animals for their skins, tusks and whatever else takes their fancy, which is disgraceful for sure. I like the picture of the Heron, his staying power must have given you many smiles, but what a character 🙂 lol
The roaming goats are also a brilliant feature and something lovely to see, I don’t know why the French don’t like it, but then there is always someone not liking something so I suppose it has to be expected. Right I will call back to your blog again soon and read through this one again, it is certainly an interesting posting my friend.
Have a lovely weekend 🙂

Hi Sandra, we both appear in each others “likes” in support of our WPC posts! So sad to see it go, but I thought I would follow several bloggers who seem consistent and loyal to the WPC. YOur photos are wonderful and I kick myself for not following you sooner!
