Weathered: Weekly Photo Challenge

Weathered:  the effect of time and the elements.  I resisted a selfie here 😦

I think these two ladies have been hanging around in all weathers for quite some time.

This building, known as Pier Head, occupies a prime position in our seaside town.  Artistic efforts have been made to improve the effect of time and weather on the facade!  Yes, the openings/windows are painted on.

Durdle Door on our Dorset coast.

About Sandra

I used to cruise the French waterways with my husband four or five months a year, and wrote fiction and poetry. Now I live on the beautiful Dorset coast, enjoying the luxury of being able to have a cat, cultivating an extensive garden and getting involved in the community. I still write fiction, but only when the spirit moves me - which isn't as often as before. I love animals, F1 motor racing, French bread and my husband, though not necessarily in that order.

Great picture! They waited many years for you to capture them in their beautiful patina! The effects of time are a wonder to behold!

    Excellent, dear.

I'd love to hear your views; it reassures me I'm not talking to myself.
